“In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh….
For three years the disciples had been with Jesus, walking with Him and hearing everything He had to say. Even though these chosen disciples walked with the Creator manifest in the flesh, these men were still carnal and brooded continually amongst themselves, yet Jesus was so graceful to them in spite of all their shenanigans! What was missing? Or better yet, who was missing? The Father always has a plan doesn’t He! Jesus knew that the “missing link” had not been installed within them. They had not received since they believed. The power to walk in the light as He walked had not arrived on scene to pour out the “Mind of Christ” and to produce “manifest sons of God” who could be about the Father’s business, souls. He knew these men must be anointed and scourged through the searing crucible baptism of His Fire and Love before they could be sent in power. So the day came that Jesus told His closest brothers that He needed to leave them so that the Holy Spirit could come and that they would be better off because of it. He spoke in parables and explained them the Kingdom when He could but the Holy Spirit that was to come would baptize them in Fire and lead them into the knowledge of His Truth that would set them free to do the greater things than He did as He has told them before. Now these men could have access to the Father at all times and hear the sound of the Father’s heart. Now they could hear Wisdom directly through the throne and pray the prayers of the the very “Mind of Christ” Himself. Now they could do all things as Christ by His Spirit strengthened them. Now, if this was true of the disciples—who spent every day with Jesus—how much more do we need the Holy Spirit actively involved in our lives today?
The Holy Spirit is a member of the Godhead, the very Spirit of God who carries the fullness of God the Father and the Son. He is not an “it” or a mystical power; He is God. He is not limited by time or space; He can communicate with and assist an unlimited number of people all at the same time. He was intimately involved in the lives of early believers, and He yearns to be involved in every area of our lives today. There is virtually no Christian life without Him, but there is an abundant life of adventure to those who embrace His awesome fellowship.
It is unconscionable that the church at large would diminish the absolute necessity of the infilling baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire! The church is just an institution without Him. The gift of the Person of the Holy Spirit and the gift of His infilling power and abiding presence is an absolute necessity for the church to advance in such a way that the gates of Hell cannot prevail against it. The saturation and infilling of the Holy Spirit that reveals the Mind of Christ within the Body of Christ is an absolute must. We are seeing a great awakening to the now present outpouring of the Holy Spirit that is diminished by erroneous fearful teaching and the weakness of man’s carnal thoughts concerning Him. Where doctrinal disputation, theological debate and denominational divisions concerning these things exist the Holy Spirit has been relegated to an occasional mention or dismissed altogether as thing of the past not a Person of Presence in the here and now.
The teaching that there is no “baptism of the Holy Spirit and that man has to work his way to maturity as son’s of God unto a perfect man without Him is a fools game and a chance not worth taking. We have His Word, but His Word means nothing if it is not revealed within us by the Spirit of Truth and Grace according the Mind of Christ producing Love within us! The church at large is bankrupt and incomplete without His Love, without His Presence and power working within them. To think they can do anything of value apart from the Holy Spirit is not only heretical, but it is laughable at best.
The days of men approaching the throne vicariously through mediators established by the institutions of man were put to an end on the day the Lord poured out His Spirit in the upper room on “Pentecost”.
His power working within us by His Spirit produces son’s who are about the Father’s business fitly joined together in Love. John 14:21 says, “the one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.” Love compels obedience and obedience produced by love compels the Lord to manifest Himself to you through and by His Holy Spirit. John 16:13-14 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you. He has in the past and He will continue to advance His glorious Gospel through the Spirit filled men who have capitulated to His outpouring in their lives.
The church cannot love completely nor can it hear the hearts cry of the Holy Spirit if they do not concede to the Holy Spirit nor capitulate to the Baptism by the Baptizer of the Holy Spirit.
Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “COME”. And he that heareth, let him say, “COME”. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.
This is an invitation to be filled with the Spirit. If man cannot recognize that the Church is incomplete without the Holy Spirit baptism and fire then they can never fully partner in the hearts cry of the Father. He has commissioned the Bride and the Holy Spirit to join together to be the voice of power and love to the world. The cry to the world they share is the invitation of the Spirit and Bride for the world to “come” cannot be accomplished apart from these two becoming One. In reality the Father, the Son the Holy Spirit and the bride are to become one. Isn’t it true that when a man and woman become husband and wife the two become one? In the current state of the ‘church’ at large this partnership has not manifested across the board into all the streams of doctrine and institutions that are established in His Name. So now what?
The list is long as to why the prayer of John 17 Jesus prayed cannot be accomplished until the church unifies with the Spirit of God and joins their voices together to say “come” in a way that appeals to the world. Jesus prayed in verse 21-23 “that they may all be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I also have given to them, so that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and You loved them, just as You loved Me. How can two walk together except they agree?
What is holding the church back? Ignorance is a culprit.
Most do not know nor have they ever been made aware that there is a baptism of the Holy Spirit. God is here in the form and presence of His Holy Spirit who is God sent by God in Spirit and in Truth to reveal the Son within all of those who would receive Him. Most have not been taught to receive the full immersion of the Holy Spirit baptism and they simply don’t know. An ignorant church is a dead, misguided and reckless church. Many have been led to believe that the outpouring is no longer for today and that these things died with the book of Acts and are no longer valid. Not all are ignorant though and they have heard but have not bowed their knee to the Baptizer of the Holy Spirit because of fear, lack of faith or the lies perpetrated by doctrinal and denominational disputation.
Some reject the call to sit down with the King in Spirit at His banqueting table because they are not ready to let go of their own lusts. When the fire and testing come many fall away. Many go around the mountain falling down and getting back up again in their struggle to mature as the Lord work’s it within them by His Spirit to surrender and to obey. There is a serious lack of the Fear of the Lord where the Spirit of the Lord is left out of the equation. Things are convoluted in the thoughts and intents of men whose lips speak of Him when their hearts are far from Him because they reject His gift to them. Erroneous teachings blind the eyes of the disciple who find theirselves sitting in the unfortunate position of the lies fed them by the doctrine of demons that preach that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit no longer exists and that was for “then” and not now. This is heresy spewed by preachers and teachers who have not partnered the letter of the Word with the Spirit of the Word revealed. You can hardly be led by the Spirit of God to teach and preach the Word of God in power and according to the revelation of the Spirit if you are not led, taught and saturated in the Baptism of His Truth by His Spirit. As well, it easy to ignore His Highness and Holiness when you can’t see or hear Him unless you have eyes and ears of faith produced by His Spirit to see and hear Him with. Like they say, out of sight, out of mind.
You could hardly ignore Him if you truly could see Him as He truly is revealed by His Spirit. Without His divine revelation of Himself by the power of His Spirit working with us we will never know the Lord Jesus Christ as the revealer of the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the height, the depth, the width and the length of His Love. Its time the church unites in agreement with the realization that the Holy Spirit is the Teacher and not man or his institutions. It is the Holy Spirit that is the Comforter, the Revelator, the Helper, the Leader and Disseminator of Truth. Apart from Him we can do nothing for it is He that is present to work with in us to will and to do His good pleasure, keep us from falling and to direct our steps to where the fulness of what the Lord has to gift us with is. Yes, we can trust those who are anointed, appointed and sent by God to steward His Word amongst us as long they remain in Christ Jesus continually filled and led by His Spirit.
If those who deny the Presence and outpouring of the Holy Spirit today met Him right where He has been working within them, pouring upon them from above continually, they would run to the Father with abandon to be filled and refreshed by His beautiful breath of love and life and sit at His feet to drink of His extravagant Love.
He must be recognized and acknowledged as the One who is filling the whole earth with the knowledge of His Glory. This is the only way will know the Truth and the only way that we will ever come to a place of freedom to love one another and walk in UNITY.
Pray that the church would awaken to the wisdom, the knowledge and the understanding of how wonderful, beautiful and generous He truly is. That the Body of Christ at large would awaken to the awesome extravagant generosity of the Father that He would share not only His Son but His own Holy Spirit. The church needs to get underneath the spout where the Holy Ghost pours out! He will never run out of Himself! Actually all that He has and is expands, increases, multiplies and exceeds in abundance continually with unrelenting force far more and further than anything we could ever hope for, ask or imagine.
If you are reading this I encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to teach you, guide you, and reveal to you secret things that reveal His perfections, His Majestic Truth’s. Ask Him to refresh you and fill you from above with Himself, who is the Source of Freedom, the Power and the Glory, Wisdom, Knowledge and the Understanding of all of His Love. Acknowledge Him as the Distributor of Grace that works within you to will and to do His good pleasure. If only the church was motivated by the revelation of the Spirit of the Father and Son’s eternal passionate love and His desire to work it all for the good, they would hardly be so reckless. They would rebuke the very idea. It is impossible to maintain a cavalier response to Him in the face of such glory that they could ignore the most generous Gift ever given to mankind.
The Holy Spirit is like the wind to be sure, and the Holy Spirit can only move like the wind from within those who have allowed Him to take up residence within them by faith. These are the only ones who understand the Holy Spirit is the revealer of the plan, the order, the arrangement, the timing, the wisdom, the knowledge, the understanding and Truth that we need to complete that for which we are sent.
The Holy Spirit is raising up sons who are bowed to the Love mission on behalf of the King for and on behalf the Love of the Father. The Spirit led son knows that apart from intelligent design in the Spirit the mission is without purpose or power nor is it under the Authority of the One who sends us. The Holy Spirit is the one who delegates within our ranks the disciplines and accountability that enable us to move as mighty warrior army against the forces of darkness. Jesus by His Spirit manifested in His matchless power could never be ignored. John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit. “So is every one who is born of the Spirit.”
Believers who are born of the Spirit are led by the Spirit and take on the attributes of the Spirit. Those who are led by the Spirit are at the beck and call of the Holiest of Divine winds born within sons of God who have died to flesh and arisen to newness of life in the Spirit of His Resurrection.
The Holy Spirit gives the church the ability to remain crucified with Christ so that obedience is the defining characteristic if their testimony in Christ so that He is continually manifesting Himself in them and all around them.
Wherever faith in Christ Jesus exist there He is. Wherever man in the flesh is there you will find the Holy Spirit pouring out. The Holy Spirit is available to all whether they believe or acknowledge His existence or not. The Holy Spirit is pouring out on all flesh. For those who have no revelation of the “knowledge of His Glory” He is devising ways perpetually to reach them. There is no limit to the devices that the Lord can come up with to reach a man by His Holy Spirit. Job 33:14-30 “Indeed God speaks once, or twice, yet no one notices it. In a dream, a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people, while they slumber in their beds, then He opens the ears of people, and horrifies them with warnings, so that He may turn a person away from bad conduct and keep a man from pride; He keeps his soul back from the pit, and his life from perishing by the spear. A person is also rebuked by pain in his bed, and with constant complaint in his bones, so that his life loathes bread, and his soul, food that he should crave. His flesh wastes away from sight, and his bones, which were not seen, stick out. Then his soul comes near to the pit, and his life to those who bring death. “If there is an interceding angel for him, one out of a thousand, to remind a person of what is right for him, and he is gracious to him, and says, free him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom’; let his flesh become fresher than in youth, let him return to the days of his youthful vigor; then he will pray to God, and He will accept him, so that he may see His face with joy, and He will restore His righteousness to that person. He will sing to people and say, ‘I have sinned and perverted what is right, and it is not proper for me. He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life will see the light. “Behold, God does all these things for a man two or three times, to bring back his soul from the pit, so that he may be enlightened with the light of life.”

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift promised to all believers. It is an experience which
cannot be earned or purchased. As we are endued with power from on high, we are set free

works than Jesus did while He was on earth.
